Festivals & Readings
Since our founding, New Earth Theatre has sought to introduce plays from the ESEA diaspora to British audiences.
These festivals and readings offer a chance for artists to develop their craft at the critical early stages, and a number of pieces that we have developed and platformed have gone on to have successful theatrical runs.
BESEA Reads
"BESEA Reads" is a series of free informal play reading and discussion sessions exploring contemporary BESEA approaches to the traditional Western theatre canon, as well as the wider ESEA and diaspora ESEA theatre canon.
Everyone is welcome to sign up, although we ask that only people who identify as BESEA put themselves forward to read.
