Open Works is a bold celebration of theatre artists, new voices, new stories, diverse perspectives, and fresh ideas.

Building on the success of ourTwisted Roots seed commissioning programme in 2025, we are delighted to be partnering with Sheffield Theatres for Open Works Festival 2026 to develop a range of opportunities for BESEA artists, and to create a platform for BESEA artists in Yorkshire.

Slots will be allocated as part of the Work-in-Progress, Rehearsed Readings, and Scratch opportunities for BESEA artists, alongside bespoke mentoring and networking packages for BESEA artists.
