New Earth Writers UK Academy Plus Table Read Events

As part of the New Earth Writers UK Academy Plus this year, we are holding table read events in London, Manchester and Birmingham to allow the writers in the 2026-27 Academy Plus cohort a chance to hear their plays aloud and have a discussion with their peers following the reading of the plays.

We are looking for actors and a few members of the New Earth community to come read or listen to these exciting new plays and support the writers in their process.  You can attend one session or attend the entire day. 

In London, in particular, there are reading roles that are open to actors who do not identify as BESEA.  We encourage Spanish-speaking readers and readers with a Midwestern US American accent to express their interest in the London event.

7th October - London at New Earth Offices

10am - 6pm (Morning, and afternoon slots possible)

We will accept expressions of interest until 25th September 10am or until the session is full. You will be contacted by 25th September 12 noon or earlier if you are selected to read.  All other attendees will be contacted by 29th September to confirm their attendance at the session.
