For the past three decades, New Earth has been the sector leader in developing and championing British East and Southeast Asian voices in the theatre industry. With thanks to The Heritage Lottery Fund, we have had the incredible opportunity to reflect upon our archive as part of our 30th anniversary year, documenting the incredible transformation of the BESEA theatre ecology in the UK and the huge role that New Earth has played in nurturing and facilitating this change.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re looking for up to 3 new Trustees to join us to pave the way for the future of New Earth. Our Board of Trustees is an invaluable resource of support and a springboard for developing ideas. We seek to grow the team in order to reflect the work we’re doing and bring new perspectives to the company.

• A cover letter (up to 2 sides of A4), video (up to 6 minutes) or audio recording (up to 6 minutes) telling us why you’re applying and what you believe you would bring to the role

• A completed equal opportunities form

The deadline is Monday 15th September at 9am. Selected applicants will be invited to an informal interview, with the possibility of shadowing our next Board meeting. The Trustee roles are voluntary, but travel expenses to meetings and interviews can be covered.
