Development Director and Evaluator

Bec Britain is based in Brighton and has over 25 years’ experience working with diverse arts organisations. She has a background as a Creative Producer, working with Same Sky (10 years as General Manager/Creative Producer), Zap Productions, Streatham Festival, Brighton Photo Fringe, Future Creators, Artpod, Photoworks, Brighton & Hove Library, The Keep, Ashford Borough Council, and Revelation.

This broad experience informs her current work in development and fundraising, primarily focussed on organisations delivering arts for social change agendas and organisations that are female-led. This work is complemented by impact research and evaluation of projects and programmes to inform future strategy. She has worked with Theatre Temoin, Periplum, Murmuration Arts, London Mozart Players, Odyssey Ensemble, Create Music and KP Projects.

Alongside her management toles, Bec is a visual artist who creates large and small-scale 3D work in a range of mediums. Her work spans thrown and hand-built ceramics, willow sculpture and lanterns, paper sculpture, fine leather bookbinding and fabric installations.
